How to Save a Facebook Video

Having a friend upload a video on Facebook may be exciting but there's no need to keep it around for posterity. You can easily download the video to your iPhone, iPad, or PC and watch it later. There are also third party apps that will help you do the same thing.

First, you'll want to log into your Facebook account using a desktop browser. You can save the video to your computer's local storage or to the device's gallery. You can also save a video to your Facebook profile. However, this isn't a recommended way to download videos.

You can also download videos from Facebook using third-party apps. There are several of these out there, and some are more secure than others. These programs will require you to grant them access to your profile. Some apps are scams, and some may even contain malware. While these programs may make it easier to download Facebook videos, you should always be careful.

If you're on a desktop computer, you can save the video as an MP4 file by highlighting the URL in the address bar. Then, press the Enter key. You'll then see a pop-up menu displaying several options. You can save the video as a copy of the original, save it as an MP4, or save it as a link.

If you're on an iPhone, you can save the video by tapping the Share button below the video. Alternatively, you can save it to your Photos app by tapping the Share icon. To save it to your PC or Mac, you'll want to use a USB cable to transfer the file. The video should then appear in your Photos or Documents folder.

If you're on an Android device, you can use a third-party app called MobiMover. MobiMover has a feature called Video Downloader that will allow you to download videos from Facebook. The app will keep a folder in your app tray for you to easily access and manage media files on your phone. To download a video, you'll need to login to your Facebook account.

The Facebook website also has a feature called the Save Video As button. It's not as easy to save a video as you might think, but it's definitely possible. In fact, you may have already saved a video to your Facebook profile already, but you may want to go back and check it out.

There's also a feature called the Show Video URL that will show you the link to the video you're viewing. This isn't the only function of the app, though, and you can also save the video to your iPhone's camera roll. However, you'll want to make sure you download the video in HD.

The Facebook video download may not be the most efficient way to download videos, but there are plenty of other options. You can save a Facebook video as an MP4 file using QuickTime Player, save it as a link to your Facebook profile, or save it to your phone's gallery.
