Twitch and YouTube are two sites that have carved out
important niches in the world of online gaming and streaming. Twitch, which is
well-known for its live streaming capabilities, has become a paradise for
gamers and content creators who want to broadcast their activities in real
time.
YouTube, on the other hand, is a massive video-sharing
website where users can publish, share, and watch videos from all over the
world. But what if you want to combine these two worlds by sharing your Twitch
streams on YouTube?
You must first ensure that your Twitch account is enabled to
archive broadcasts before you can upload your Twitch streams to YouTube. This
function is critical since it automatically saves your Twitch streams for 14
days, which is extended to 60 days for Twitch Partners, Prime Gaming, and Turbo
customers.
To enable this function, go to the Twitch website, click on
your profile image in the upper right corner, and then pick 'Creator
Dashboard'. Navigate to 'Settings,' then 'Stream,' and check 'Store past broadcasts'.
When you've finished your stream and are ready to publish it
to YouTube, make a highlight. Because Twitch does not enable you to export
videos longer than 2 hours to YouTube, this step is required. A highlight is
essentially a hand-picked segment from your feed.
To make a highlight, go to 'Video Producer,' click the
three-dot icon next to the video you wish to highlight, and then choose
'Highlight'. Then, select the section of the movie you want to highlight and
press the 'Create Highlight' button.
Now that you've finished creating your highlight, it's time
to upload it to YouTube. Still in the 'Video Producer' tab, identify the
highlight you just produced, click on the three-dot icon next to it, and pick
'Export'. You'll be requested to link your YouTube account if you haven't
already.
Return to the 'Export' option after following the prompts to
link your account. You can give your video a title, description, and tags
before clicking the 'Start Export' button. Depending on the length of the
video, the export procedure can take anywhere from a few minutes to many hours.
When exporting videos, keep in mind that you must adhere to
both Twitch's and YouTube's terms of service. Ascertain that you own the rights
to any music or content included in your video, and that it does not contain
any content that violates the terms of service.
Sharing your Twitch feeds on YouTube is a wonderful way to
attract a larger audience and keep your footage available for longer than
Twitch's 14-day limit.
You can share your gaming prowess, entertaining commentary,
or any other unique parts of your streams with a larger audience by making
highlights and exporting them to YouTube. It's an excellent method to raise
